Mantel Hook

The mantel hook is a great piece to add rustic, hand forged decor to your home. This hook is forged from a single piece of iron. After cutting the piece to length, we carefully remove any burrs from cut ends and corners. The raw iron is then heated and shaped in traditional blacksmith fashion using fire, anvil, hammer and an assortment of hand tools to achieve the final shape. We designed this hook to hang below the mantel so that the weight is under the mantel, not in front of it.

Our mantel hooks have a wax applied to them while still warm from the forging process. We have found that the applied wax works well for interior and sheltered areas. Since our products are forged by hand, each item will vary slightly. If ordering multiple items, we will strive to ship items that are very similar.
